Salutations and good morning. Marcus Eley here and this is what I heard and saw in prayer for today:
I see a man lying in a bed. He is surrounded by riches and beautiful things. I sense that he is unable to enjoy them.
The Lord says, “Though you have been called to serve, be very intentional in choosing to rest. If the Son of Man rested, then surely rest is necessary for you as well. There are many a gift I have waiting for you, and your health is detrimental to your productivity. By My stripes, you are healed and rest is included. What good is a vessel who refuses to care for their temple? It is true that I will place nothing on you that you can’t bear, but will you lessen your capacity? Rest isn’t a burden. It is a privilege. A privilege meant to be cherished. When the earth was created, I, myself, rested. Are you above Me? Be sure you rest, but be sure that your rest is earned.”
That is the word of the Lord.
