At Purpose Makers, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Lord and Savior--as He died on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day, eventually ascending into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God as our Advocate--and is, therefore, not only the one and only Way to the Father, but also one part of the Holy Trinity--Jesus Christ (God's Son), the Holy Spirit (the Helper God sent us, Comforter, Holy Ghost, Spirit of God), and God (the One and only true God, the Father, YAHWEH, Creator, and Elohim). We also believe that Jesus' blood sacrifice took on all of our sins--past, present, and future--and, therefore, any and all curses due to sin were also covered (and forgiven in repentance) under the new covenant with God that Jesus' blood sacrifice afforded us, and, by faith in Christ, all believers have reign and authority to stomp the devil's scorpions and serpents, cast out demons, perform miracles, heal the sick, prophesy, and presume dominion in the earth in Jesus' name. We believe that the Bible is God's love letter and instruction manual to believers; therefore, we teach directly from the Bible and elaborate on instruction already given to us with the help of the understanding and leading provided to us through the unction of the Holy Spirit residing in us.
